While talking to the towns- peopre, the two friends hear about Pelgana. Evidently, mysterious weather, bad crops, and rising prices have made it a bad place for mefr chants to do business. Dogi was worried.
• A departure from the first two games, Ys takes a page from Faxanadu and Zelda II. New SNES-related video every Tuesday, and a Steam/Game Boy/NES/Genesis vi.
• I would describe Ys III as an Action RPG similar to the Adventure of Link, and Faxanadu on the NES. Ys sports a high difficulty which was typical for the games of its day, however that difficult isn't rooted in combat, tough bosses or skill based jumping, it's rooted in a significant level grinding requirement.

Ys III: Wanderers from Ys adopted side-scrolling action-adventure gameplay, similar to Falcom's own Dragon Slayer series and Nintendo's Zelda II, with an attack button and a variety of different attacks. The classic control scheme returned in Ys IV: Mask of the Sun. With Ys V: Kefin, the Lost City of Sand, the game adopted a top-down viewpoint.

appears. It translates roughly to 'if you write word $FFFF to $FFE1EE, Adol won't die' — and in fact, the patch code FFE1EE:FFFF does exactly that, in the 'colliding with an enemy does nothing' fashion. The cheat also works in the American version of the game, but the message was removed.
